The day it happened Taylor told me it would be a disaster. It was the night of the Winter Formal and we were getting ready for the best party ever. “Seriously Ava, this party’s going to be horrible”, said Taylor applying her eyeshadow. “Uh no way”, I replied putting on my new earrings “And plus, I have a hot date”

My boy fri end Ethan, me and Taylor were going to the dance together. Taylor sadly doesn’t have a date because she thinks she’s ugly but she’s absolutely beautiful.

After we got dressed, we decided to make Tk-Ts and post on Insram while we waited for Ethan to arrive to take us to the dance.

A few minutes later, we heard the doorbell ring.

“Ding, Dong! Ding Dong!”

“He’s Here!” I yelled, grabbing my purse.

“Noah! “Get them all the way down the stairs,” said my mom.

Yep, there's my brother taping the whole awkward scene.

“Uh Mom, you don’t need to record us, its ok”

“Sweetie, you look so beautiful”

“Thanks Mom. We gotta go”

“Ok Sweetie. Be home by midnight!” my mom said waving as we got into the car.

“Bye Mom!”
