Does this idea of mine sound good?: Okay okay hear me out, I have these 2 OCs that I want to put in a show but the thing is I cant draw (Ill keep practicing though!)

One of the OCs are human and named Dr. Ray, Dr. Ray is a man who lost his wife while she gave birth to their child and the child died on his 7th birthday because a driver crashed into their car. The man became depressed.

The other OC is a monster who is very nice but wasnt really accepted by his own kind since his species are known to be very aggressive. The monster is named Ripple Man and he loves all living things and has a positive attitude. He also comes from a different dimension.

Dr. Ray finds Ripple Man crying and at first Dr. Ray is scared because Ripple Man is a monster that takes a deceased/gorey appearance but his cries remind Dr. Ray of his dead son so his fatherly instinct kicks in and he helps Ripple Man. They part their separate ways but Ripple Man often visits Dr. Ray and soon starts to live with Dr. Ray.

The rest of the story im still figuring out but I do have a main idea on who the enemy is but rn im focused on these 2.
