The exact real-world dimensions may not be available, so you will create a list of the measurements you will use for the ratio. For example, it might be difficult to obtain the exact height of a bridge, so you may estimate the height, list it as a measurement on your report, and use the value for the scale ratio. If a building is drawn to a scale, it means for every on the drawing the real life object is 1 foot long.
