Take a look at the following artwork by Frank Stella, discuss how balance was created. How was balance created?

In my opinion balance was created through the positions of each color and their shapes. Although all of the colors used are not the same all of the colors are equally represented.  They each have a different color but are balanced because they have the same shape and size as their opposite. When making a balanced artwork you have to take in four variables: Size, Color, Position, and Pattern. So the artist creates the balance in the artwork by using the variables mentioned effectively.
