Final Project Part of your coursework is a final project in which you will create your own work of
art. This work can be any medium size, or style. Use your imagination! Throughout
this course, you will be exposed to many different artists and artworks, so be on the
lookout for inspiration
It's never too early to start planning your final project. In fact, your work starts right
now. Each journal will help you advance your ideas and work on the project. Start
with the questions below.
1. A medium is what something is made of: paint photography, and clay are three
common mediums. What medium do you think you'd like to use for your piece? Why?
List at least three possible mediums and explain why they interest you. (6 points)

2. You will submit digital photos of your project to your teacher. If you do not have
access to a digital camera, you will need to borrow one. If you don't think you'll have
access to a camera by the time your project is due, tell your teacher now.
