For the identity project, you are to draw at least 4 to 5 things that represents you in a visual form. They tell something about you visually almost like a visual biography.
You must have the following things included:
A focal point: this is the area of the artwork that grabs the viewers attention, first!
Balance: the elements and principals of design work together in a harmonious way! You have to have an asymmetrical balance
Repetition: something that repeats
Overlapping: something on top of something else
Must be colored and or shaded in black and white or both!
It can include your name but you don't have to use it if you don't want to!
When you are done with your drawing, you will write an artist statement explaining your work to me. You will tell me what the images mean to you, why you chose the focal point and anything else that you want to add. Please do this on a Google doc and attach it to the lesson. Make sure you name and period is on it. You will put your artist statement in the comment section.
