One of the changes in the music industry during the twentieth century was the increasing commercialization of music. With the invention of the internet and .mp3s, people can access music almost anywhere for a very low cost. Some artists actually lose money when they sell a “file” or download of their song because they are priced so low. In your opinion, have these technological advances been good for the music industry?
