I've had my acoustic for almost three years, but then I never really got into playing so it has just been lying around my room collecting dust and I've just started playing. (Credit goes to my boyfriend lol)

Currently the only thing I can play is Twinkle Twinkle.

But my best advice is to make sure when your working on chords that your fingers aren't interfering with the strings that aren't be used for that chord. Otherwise you get this odd humming noise.
