I believe that are is valued in our culture. There are many different forms of art that can have many different interpretations.

Ex) Graffiti, sculptures, art museums/exhibits, music, etc.

People can have different interpretations on the meaning behind the art. Ex) People can think a song is about losing someone (maybe a family member passed away) or a person breaking up with someone so losing them that way.

i think it is more of an artistic statement, because clothing featured in these photographs and magazines is so extravagant that most people would not be even tempted to wear it, let along purchase it
