Image 1 has many dark values, bold lines and images without many details, and the values are created by the thickness of the lines; whereas Image 2 , the values differ based on the detail of the engraving and the amount of ink. Image 2 also has a lot of details and is a photo-realistic image of an owl, and Image 2 is a nonrealistic representation of a Spanish matador in a bull ring fighting a bull. Both images are in black and white.
