Before giving an answer, it is probably a good idea to look at the painting itself. The most striking thing about it is the color. The greens are not just 1 green, there are by my sloppy count, about 6 different greens and they blend.  The greens could keep you occupied for quite awhile.

Then there are the reds which sort of depend on the natural lighting. I would be willing to bet that the orange along the lower right border isn't orange at all in a different time of day.

You could be astonished by the yellows as well. There is so much variety in the the yellows from dark yellow to almost a fall yellow right in the center.

Having said all of that, I don't see how you could pick anything but D but the question is multiple choice so there is a good chance that B is the actual answer. It is not so for me, but if you have strong feelings about B, by all means use it. Art always permits more than 1 opinion.
