1. during this class you have learned about different types of photography. identify some of these and explain what that type of photography is about.
2. thinking about the different types of photographs which is your favorite type of photograph? what are some tips and strategies for taking this type of photo? have you used these methods? did you find the effective or restrictive? explain your answer.
3. before the oral exam you were asked to bring with an example of photographs for each of the different types of photography (people, landscape, places, close up, documentary & action). using the screenshare feature share these photographs. to show me each of your photos and explain why you feel the photo is a good representation of the type of photograph it represents? could this photograph also be considered for another type of photograph? explain why or why not.
4. using the screenshare feature have students open the unit 10 assignment and look at the documentary photographs in part 5 of the assignment. tell me about the event and what photographs say about the event? do you feel these photos portray an accurate representation of the event? be sure to support your thoughts with details about the photos. if you were to take these photos again what would you do differently to make your photographs stronger?
5. you are headed to the zoo with your family and you have decided to take your camera. how would you prepare for your day of taking pictures at the zoo? what type of pictures will you take? what strategies and tips would you use when taking your photos? how will these you to take stronger photographs?
