Wash raw food items very well before cooking.

Cover the food being cooked properly

Allow the food to be properly cooked

Cover the food when it is ready for eating and portion is left in the pot.

Eating at restaurants is no longer a problem because I feel comfortable based on the fact that restaurants have learnt about the precautions  food service to help them minimize the threat of food safety hazards.
