Explain how did early cities differ from neolithic villages and towns

The development of cities around urban centers was a gradual process rather than a well-defined event. Cities and villages & towns differ in two ways. First, cities were larger and more complex. Professional craft workers refined existing technologies, invented new ones, and raised levels of quality and production. Second, Neolithic villages & towns served the needs of their inhabitants and immediate neighbors, whereas cities decisively influenced the political, economic,and cultural life of large regions.

If we perceive our body as too fat even though our body is not we might diet until we think we aren't fat and if we perceive our body as too thin we might binge eat until we think we are average weight ( not too thin and not too fat )
