When there were actually quite a few tribes who adopted Anglo Saxon names and learned, developed their own alphabet, and even lived in towns that were similar to whites. Despite having made the changes to assimilate, whites often still raided their towns and removed them from their homes and relocated them to Oklahoma through the Trail of Tears where many would die through disease.
