Basically, the larger the population, although the percentage of growth is similar, in nominal terms the number will be higher, which will widen the population gap between both countries.

Thus, as the years go by, the difference between the two countries will increase. For example, at 5 years, the population difference between the two countries will be the following:

D: 10.7 x 1.015 ^ 5 = 11.5

P: (6.8 x 1.015) ^ 5 = 7.3

It is clearly seen how one adds 800 thousand inhabitants while the other only adds 500 thousand. Therefore, a proportionally equal growth will lead to the Dominican Republic ending up doubling the population of Paraguay.
