1. Explanation:

Since culture is an integrated part of any society. It keeps the whole social order bound together. People pass culture from one generation to another. Various adaptations are made while it is being transmitted from one individual to another.

Any culture is made up of different components like rituals, norms values etc. As the world has progressed, everyone has access to social media these days hence it is a popular way to diffuse any culture. Meanwhile, celebrities are famous people who are followed by the masses hence whatever they endorse is generally accepted by the youth and they follow their footsteps.

Various mechanisms of diffusion are used to spread any culture far or wide.

2. Explanation:

Relocation diffusion takes place because of people as they move from one place to another leaving certain individuals inspired by their ways i.e culture. These ways are later adopted by different other individuals leading to chain mechanism of slow diffusion. Contagious diffusion is one of the most commonly seen types of diffusion. If a person in his class says something different or uses a word very frequently, later this word is seen to be used or spoken by others of their class hence this diffusion becomes contagious. Hierarchical Diffusion is seen to be very effective these days. If a famous person uses a word or does something, it is soon adopted by thousands of other individuals.

The two main types of confrontational barriers are Economic and age barrier.

3. Explanation:

Economic barrier is a hindrance in which families can not afford certain things i.e latest electronics etc. Hence these families are unable to follow the diffused culture that may have recently been popular. Age barrier is very common and huge hurdle. It is seen in people who are above 40 mostly. These individuals are unable to adjust to the new surroundings or trends hence they give up the effort of adopting new habits regardless of their popularity in the society.
