E-waste is electronic waste, Electronics break down when thrown away. They then release toxins. This creates economic and environmental issues.

E-waste is also known as electronic waste. The major difference between regular waste, compostable waste, and electronic waste is that electronics are not made naturally, and thus, they do not break down quickly when thrown away. As they do break down, they release toxins and chemicals that have both economic and environmental consequences. Economically, this creates a waste of materials, as then companies proceed to keep mining for new materials , which is also damaging to the environment. In addition to this, E-waste causes health complications. Animals and plants near landfills can absorb and ingest these toxins and chemicals, and when humans proceed to eat these animals and plants, their health worsens, as well.
